2. Use of Service
Remember Us provides a platform for funeral homes to publish death notices and for the public to view notices and leave condolences. You agree to use this service respectfully and in accordance with all applicable laws.
3. Funeral Home Accounts
Funeral homes must register and be verified before publishing notices. All information provided must be accurate and notices must be published in good faith.
4. Content Standards
All content published on Remember Us must be respectful, accurate, and appropriate. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these standards.
5. Authenticity and Fraud Prevention
Users posting notices must provide truthful information. We may require death certificate evidence and/or certificate numbers, and we may suspend accounts involved in false, misleading, or fraudulent notices.
6. Moderation and Enforcement
We may moderate, hide, reject, or delete notices, media, and condolences that violate these terms, harm others, or create legal risk. Repeat violations may result in permanent account bans.
7. Privacy
Your use of Remember Us is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect and use your information.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You must not post impersonated notices, forged documents, defamatory content, or unlawful material. Attempts to bypass verification, moderation, or RBAC controls may result in immediate suspension.
9. Liability Limits
While we operate anti-fraud checks and moderation workflows, users remain responsible for the truthfulness of submitted data. The service is provided on an "as available" basis within applicable law.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by applicable South African law unless mandatory local law requires otherwise. Disputes should first be raised through support for good-faith resolution.
